We require a copy of your pet's current vaccination records.
Your pet must have a Bordetella (kennel cough) shot yearly and it must be current through their stay.
Updates must be done at least 24 hours prior to boarding.
Your pet must have a Distemper and Parvo shot.
Vets vary as to the shot they offer and how long they last. Make sure to check your records.
They most likely will show the expiration date or show if it was a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year vaccination. Distemper and Parvo show up individually or as a 5 in one shown as DHLPP, DA2PP or some combination thereof.
Rabies Certificate - not just a line showing that they received their rabies vaccine and when it expires.
County is requiring an actual Rabies Certification for our file and here's what your veterinarian is required to provide you:
- Certificate of Vaccination—Information to Be Shown.
A licensed veterinarian in the Department's jurisdiction who vaccinates a dog or cat

B. The type of vaccine used, the name of the manufacturer, the manufacturer's serial
or lot number, and the date of the vaccination; and
C. The breed, age, color, and sex of the vaccinated dog or cat.
