Our Story

Bouquet Canyon Kennels began believing pets deserve love and respect. Our family began managing the kennels in Santa Clarita, then later purchased the business, and has grown it into the leading pet boarding and care provider. Rest assured, your furry loved ones are in great hands with our team.

A Hollywood Legacy

Since 1971, Bouquet Canyon Kennels stands as a hallmark of canine passion. Founded by Carl Spitz, Jr., it extends his father's, Carl  Spitz, Sr., legacy. Beyond a facility, it's Hollywood history. The Spitz dog, Terry, was Toto in "Wizard of Oz". Carl Sr. founded Hollywood  Board & Train in 1927.

We are closed to drop off and pick up for 10 holidays a year. We close at noon the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

We offer boarding for all domesticated animals. The facility was built for cats and dogs but we also board exotics like bunnies and lizards.

No. We ask that you leave your pup home for your first visit. This eliminates extra distractions. Once you're registered and all your vaccine records are in place you can schedule to bring your pup for a quick visit or book a spot for daycare.

We offer tours every day we're open between 10 am and 2 pm.  Make sure to call first if it has been raining.
